Synopsis

Alya (Sinem Unsal) is a middle-aged woman who lives in Canada happily with her son and her husband Boran. She is a doctor and an independent woman. She doesn’t know anything about his husband’s family because they live in Canada and don’t have any contact with Turkiye.

Alya’s perfect life turns upside down when her husband passes away in a car accident. Based on her husband’s wishes, Alya goes to Mardin, Turkiye to bury his husband’s body in his hometown.

Alya arrives in the Albora lands and soon later, realizes that there is no return. Albora family is a powerful family in Mardin and they are involved in some crime activities, including smuggling.

Alya has the intention to stay in Mardin for burial and after then, go back to her life in Canada. However, her deceased husband’s family wants to keep her child in Mardin.

Cihan Albora (Ozan Akbaba) is the head of Albora family. He is the brother-in-law of Alya. He thinks that his brother has been murdered by their enemies. This is because they have an ongoing feud with another powerful family in the region. Cihan fights against his enemies and at the same time, has to sustain good relations with his uncle and his cousins. In this battle, he wants to protect his loved ones and refuses to let his deceased brother’s family leave the Albora lands.

Alya tries to escape from Mardin with her son but she cannot succeed. She cannot get any support to challenge the Albora family. Her mother-in-law mentions that she can only stay with her son if she gets married to her eldest son, Cihan. They think that Alya will leave her son in Mardin and go to Canada.

The story gets complicated when Alya becomes determined not to leave her son behind. She eventually agrees to get married to her brother-in-law, Cihan. Meanwhile, she learns the dark secrets of her deceased husband and the dangers in Mardin.

Far Away (Uzak Sehir) tv series story is about a powerful man Cihan who develops a sincere love for his sister-in-law Alya while fighting against his enemies. Will Alya manage to go to Canada with her son? Will Alya stay strong while fighting against her deceased husband’s family? Cihan is the head of the Albora family and manages large lands on the border of Mardin. He is a strong, cold-blooded, and charismatic man who does not put his emotions before reason. He tries to keep his business out of crime and does his best to stay against smugglers.

Alya Albora (Sinem Unsal):

Alya is a strong doctor who lives in Canada but goes to Mardin, Turkiye for the funeral of her deceased husband. She is the widow of Boran Albora. She has a son. She finds herself stuck between Western values and conservative Eastern values. She is resilient, determined, and fond of her freedom.

Sahin Albora (Alper Cankaya):

Sahin is the cousin of Cihan and the son of Ecmel and Fidan. He has been raised together with his cousins, Cihan, Kaya, and Nare. He has been in love with Nare since his childhood. He continues to love her even though she got married. He always finds herself in a dilemma between his own family and his uncle’s family.

Nare Albora Bulut (Sahra Sas):

Nare is the daughter of Sadakat and the sister of Cihan and Kaya. She is emotional and silent. She has been in love with Sahin but gets married to a man whom she does not love.

Kaya Albora (Atakan Ozkaya):

Kaya is the youngest child of Sadakat and is the brother of Cihan and Nare. He always respects his brother Cihan and considers him a father. He also has a sincere love for his cousin Zerrin but knows that he has to fight for that.

Zerrin Albora (Dilin Doger):

Zerrin is the daughter of Ecmel ve Fidan and the sister of Sahin.

Sadakat Albora (Gonca Cilasun):

Sadakat is the mother of Boran, Cihan, Nare and Kaya. She strictly adheres to her traditions and becomes a strong woman figure in the family. She has strict rules and can become extremely ruthless against those who do not obey these rules.

Ecmel Albora (Mufit Kayacan):

Ecmel is the husband of Fidan, father of Sahin and Zerrin, and uncle of Cihan, Kaya, and Nare. He is an ambitious guy. He loves power and money and he can do anything to become more powerful. He can become ruthless even toward his relatives.
