Biography: Asli Orcan was born on May 27, 1980 in Aydin. She studied at Ege University Turkish Music State Conservatory – Turkish Folk Dance Department between 1998-2003. She wanted to be an actress in the third year of the Conservatory. During that time, she took a lesson about expression gymnastics that aimed to convey emotions without speaking, only with body language. Asli Orcan was impressed by the idea of being able to take on different people through body language. Asli Orcan was a professional dancer in the group “Magic You Ney Flames of Passion”. She worked at Ekol Drama School, Department of Cinema and TV Acting, and took camera acting lessons and dialogue lessons from Ayla Algan. She also studied acting in the United States and started her acting career in 2006 with the television series Lost Years (Kaybolan Yillar).
