Synopsis

Leyla (Hande Ercel) is a young, beautiful, cool-hearted, and successful prosecutor. After working in another city for three years, she returns to Istanbul for duty and finds herself in the middle of a mysterious and difficult murder case. During the investigation, her path crosses with the famous and successful news anchorman Kenan (Burak Deniz).

Kenan is the most successful and most famous news anchorman in the country. He is an intelligent, stubborn, and handsome man.

The lives of Kenan and Leyla intersect due to a mysterious murder investigation and they find themselves in a relationship filled with mystery, tension, and passion. Leyla is assigned as the prosecutor for this murder case. Meanwhile, Kenan starts to get some messages from the murderer and finds himself dragged into a close relationship with Leyla.

As the investigation deepens, Leyla realizes that this murder case is linked with the dark past of her own family. She finds a photo of a dead businessman and her father. Leyla finds herself in the middle of a dilemma between justice and her father.

This murder case is also related to Kenan’s mysterious illness, which even he is unaware of. Kenan develops dissociative identity disorder (previously known as multiple personality disorder) at the age of 5 in the aftermath of a traumatic event. He gets some treatment and forgets everything about his past. However, years later, his second personality Dogan comes back. Now, there are two personalities, one is Dogan who remembers his orphanage life and the other is Kenan who does not know anything about his true past.

The hidden personality of Kenan wants to take the revenge of his past, believes that he is the real owner of his body, and tries to regain control over his life. Kenan is not aware of his second personality, Dogan. He does not remember his past and he does not know that he is an adopted child. He also does not remember that he used to have a second personality when he was a little child.

As Leyla and Kenan develop feelings toward each other, their romance unleashes jealousy in Kenan’s second personality Dogan. A profound love develops between Leyla and Kenan but this love has many obstacles.

He needs to make a very difficult choice, he will either save his son or reveal the truth.

Ekrem Gediz (Muttalip Mujdeci):

Ekrem is the father of Leyla who is mysterious, and has lots of secrets in his past. He is a successful businessman and he loses sleep at night due to a big mistake he made in his past. He has good relationships with his daughter and supports her in every occasion even though other family members exclude her. Years later, the mistake he made in his past seems to appear.

Sahinde Gediz (Gulcin Hatihan):

Sahinde is the mother of Leyla. She does not get along with Leyla due to the fact that Tahir is prisoned for a car accident. Sahinde blames Leyla for not saving her brother Tahir and for this reason, she kicks her own daughter out of the house. After that, she cannot rebuild her relationship with her daughter.
