From the interview with Didem Inselel

What is your greatest passion in your life, in what you do?

Even when I play characters that are similar to each other as an actor, I try to find differences and details that will separate them. However, as the scenarios fall into clichés, we cannot underline these differences. Whatever we do, we become the same man, the same woman. So, I think the best and different script is the most important thing for us. When it is not there, the acting, which should be done with passion, becomes obscured. In fact, it is becoming mediocre. You don’t have any enthusiasm. That’s why the script is a good story.

What are the points where you want to improve yourself?

There is not a single area in which I do not want to improve myself. I try to be a better person, more carefree, calmer every day. For example, I want to do more theater and start piano lessons. I’m trying to learn not to buy more than I need. I force myself to live more spontaneously. I want not to get hung up on the things I can’t change, not to forget my priorities and what I care about in the chaos of life, and to fight less with myself and others.

How did you get into acting? What made you decide to act?

I studied radio and TV. I had been acting in commercials since high school, but without realizing that what I was doing was part of acting and that I loved it very much. After years of working in many parts behind the camera, starting from newsrooms, I found myself on the set of a TV series by coincidence. I loved it. “Glass Shoes” was my first job. As soon as it was over, I started my acting training from Sahika Tekand and took training for 3 years.

Do you really have no limits?

I do everything I believe in, I think there are no limits to acting.
