Serhat kills the son of a cruel mafia leader while trying to save his own life and escapes to a small town.
Serhat starts to live in Sivas-Divrigi that is a small Anatolian town. He tries to escape from his past and changes his identity. He starts to use a different name, Ahmet and hides his true identity.
8 years later, Serhat has a calm family life as a café owner. He is married to Nurgul (Ozlem Yilmaz) for 7 years and has a little son. He has a happy marriage far away from his dark past. Everybody in the town even his lovely wife Nurgul knows nothing about his past.
Serhat’s life changes dramatically when he finds himself in the middle of a robbery in the local jewelry store. He disarms the criminals, becomes the town hero and his story tops the national news. The unwanted publicity reveals his hidden identity and he is dragged back into a war with his old mafia leader.
When mafia leader watches the news about Serhat, he sends his men in order to bring Serhat to Istanbul.
Ertan (Berk Hakman) who is the groom of the mafia leader goes to the small town where Serhat lives and wants to bring him back to Istanbul. In order to persuade him, Ertan kidnaps Serhat’s little son and wants to use him as an exchange for Serhat. However, Serhat’s little son is killed accidentally in the middle of the gunfight.
Serhat’s peaceful life turns upside down. His little son is killed and his lovely wife Nurgul accusses him for the death of their son. Serhat has nothing to do but to disclose his true identity to his wife. When his wife Nurgul learns all the truth about his past, she does not want Serhat and break up with him.
Serhat understands that nothing would become as before. He loses everything. His son is killed and his wife has left the house. He vows to get revenge on his son.
In order to take his revenge, Serhat goes to Istanbul and starts to take his revenge step by step. He starts to use the mafia leader’s daughter Merve (Begum Birgoren). My programming on Netflix of Kacak ended @ episode 50, with no real conclusion or ending if you will. what happens to Serhat and Nurgul, do they get together, does she marry Ertan, what about Merve. It has left me wondering, are there more episodes coming??
The same thing happens here in Brazil with Kaçak and Ezel.
Hi again, I am watching all the episodes on youtube that don’t have subtitles, so please, Who is Faysal?
Why was he locked up?
Also Ertan (Berk) has the best acting of a psychopath. Wow..over and over in the comments on youtube (I copy and paste them into google translate) so many remark on his excellent acting.
Thanks, to anyone who can tell me about this guy.
Dear Jaine;
Please see below the information about Faysal.
—spoiler alert—
Faysal was locked up to a cell 15 years ago by İsmet Ali Topçuoğlu. In the past, he was the right-man of İsmet Ali Topçuoplu but after then, he had a love affair with İsmet Ali Topçuoğlu’s wife. For this reason, Faysal was locked up to a cell.
Ditto with Jan’s comments. While Americans are watching Game of Thrones, I watch all the Turkish series. This is my 11th series. Last one I watched Love is in The Air had 100 episodes. Leading men are so handsome, most were models, some basketball players.
Kacak was great fun to watch. Sometimes the dialog was so funny that I laughed out loud. Yes, there was a lot of violence, but the way it was presented, it seemed more like a cartoon. I am addicted to Turkish dramas – excellent innovative scripts and fine acting.
I do wonder how Turkish dramas are filmed as a series can be 50-100 episodes long.
So engrossing, I may never watch another American series again. Just now I’m watching Behzat and with 96 episodes of 1 1/2 hours, I may never get to another Turkish series. Thanks!
OK, To whoever posts this, you an remove my last post from March 23rd, because I will figure this out eventually. I did some sleuthing and ran through the youtube episodes. The netflix covering of Kaçak (at 50 episodes) ends mid (at 42 minutes) of the Kaçak 22. Bölüm – atv that is on youtube. In other words, I was wrong about needing 2 more episodes to even begin to understand the story. It is impossible, since 22-52 are the parts I am missing. You don’t have to publish this, and you can remove the Mar 23rd post. I finally understand my confusion. WOw…meanwhile I continue to love the music. It is wonderful! Thank you everyone. Teşekkürler
I was looking on imdb and found that Volkan, the director, also directed Subat. If he reads this, there is something annoying in both shows I noticed and have commented on in the Subat review. Please! Stop having them repeat the name over and over and over and over…like when Merve calls for Umut over and over…right away it reminded me of Sabah (who drove me nuts)…that is before I found that the director is the same!! It doesn’t hold the tension like your well placed music does. Good music! Great music! That is why I am enjoying watching this a second time. I feel the same about the music in Subat! It is stupendous! Thank you.
Teşekkür ederim
I missed what happened to Nurgül Hakeri. Where did she go? Did she die? I need subtitles and watched the incomplete show on netflix a few months ago, Then started in again but fast forwarded because I don’t like the russian stuff. There wasn’t enough human interest to balance the crazy fighting. I found episode 52 on youtube and saw that she wasn’t in the ending. Where did she go? I saw on imdb that she was filming another show at the same time in 2013. Did she not like being on the Kaçak show She looked disgusted most of the time.
thank you
